A downloadable game for Windows

Hieda no Akyuu's Nocturnal Discordant Symposium

The legendary immortals Fujiwara no Mokou and Kaguya Houraisan have asked YOU to chronicle their legendary battle. Document their every move and pattern with your Duel Stylus, and try to keep up!

Draw the shapes of bullet patterns with your Stylus to record and clear them.

Fight intensity scales with time; missing a pattern will cause one of your brushes to break and the combatants will slow down out of concern.

Draw a Pentagram pattern to clear all bullets on the screen instantly with your blotting ink! Be discerning, your supply is limited.

Draw a Heart pattern when Lily White appears to steal her extend!

CONTROLS

Draw with the mouse or stylus.

I heard there were initially plans to make this into a Homebrew for the DS. Is that true?

If so... I am a developer for RetroAchievements, a website and system to add achievements for games on old consoles for fun. I would be very happy to develop a set for your group's game if you ever wish to approach that route.

Hello! That’s true, yes, Piper is actually working on a game engine for the DS for their gradwork and is eventually planning on making NDS in it.

If/when the project reaches a more complete state, we’ll let you know!

Splendid~. I will be looking forward to it!

Admittedly, it would be best to release it and tell me if it ends up being the final version. Or at least when all the in-game content is available. That way, we would not have to worry about the hex memory locations changing or the troublesome revision process.

Regardless, best wishes! And I hope to hear from you soon! ...or eventually. Please take your time~!

Hi! Just quickly popping in here to say that I actually started development just this weekend!
It'll take a while and I might have to swerve away from NDS specifically depending on how stuff plays out but for now it's definitely something that's on the table. And if it's not something I can make right now it'll be something I spend some free time on after!

Salutations! It has been a while and I am admittedly curious how this is going. Any progress, perchance~?

Hello! I've made a small bit of progress but life has sadly kept me busy, the DS was a lot of fun to research and I managed to make a gesture recognition algorithm that can run entirely on one of its lesser used CPUs and its attached ram which I'm still working on implementing. Don't have too much more to show outside of that and sadly will be busy until probably the end of summer. Thanks in checking in!

oh yeah baby wii remote time

I would love it even more if it was ever more chaotic with stranger shapes and a score system also would be nice :3

Hello, the postjam version has a scoring system!! We can see about adding more elaborate patterns in future updates as well :)

Very fun, get a style meter and ill love the game then.

You like drawing? You like danmaku? Well I got the right game for you! Jokes apart I loved this game!
